A new look
Yes, it's a new look. I've spent a couple of hours
testing out a new colour scheme on my dummy blog,
just tweaking the colours on the Blogger template.
Wikipedia (link) has a good display of website colours,
with lots of pastel shades if you like that sort of
thing.
So, how do you like it?
I've yet to sort out my Flickr badge and clock, but
then who needs a clock? I've got three in this room
already.

Personally I prefer the new look to the old, I found reading the text on the dark background a bit of a strain. Its more complementary to your pictures too. Have a look at this blog, I rather like the different shading for the narrower? right hand column. Keep up the good work.
Many thanks for suggestion, edt -- a brilliant idea.
I've changed the links to a royal blue (from the Wikipedia charts), and a deeper blue for the hover effect. The blog looks a lot better now -- less cluttered and more restful to the eye. Ta very much.
Well lets be in for a lousy $2.9NZ as for one GB pound. I think you could devote more page width to your posts, and less to the profile/previous posts/Archives/other bloggers info, even if it means sacrificing the latter's personal icons. A fine vertical line between the post area and the right hand info may look nice too? sorta like the url I posted above.I know blog layout is an autocracy, but...;)
